Jupiter has been steadily building its double handed campaign over the past 16 months, with the goal of becoming the fastest J/99 in Australia. Owner, Ian Smith and co-skipper, Lincoln Dews, are focussed on a serious challenge in the Double Handed division of the 2024 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Jupiter’s recent achievements include being crowned overall winner of the 2024 Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Race, securing 3rd in IRC Division 3 in the 2024 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and first place in the Double Handed Division of the CYCA’s Lion Island Race.
