Hartbreaker finished the 2017 Rolex Sydney Hobart in 55th overall – a significant improvement on the 67th overall in 2016 after suffering engine problems. The RP46 placed 41st overall in 2015, 21st on Line Honours in 2014 and 49th in 2013 – the year Tony Walton and Alan Breidahl purchased and renamed the boat previously known as Hardys Secret Mens Business 2 and Shamrock.
In 2018 the navigator was again James Dagge, Hong Kong-based Finn sailor who was excited to start his second race in preparation for the 2020 Olympics. Going into the 2018 Rolex Sydney Hobart Anthony Walton explained: “As skipper for our fifth Hobart, we are happy to have been able to start and complete four consecutive races. With our increasing crew experience, we feel this is the best prepared we’ve been and look to build on our previous results.” The preparation paid off, with a 7th in its division on IRC and 8th on ORCi.
