Highly Sprung is the third yacht and the second with this name owned by Middle Harbour Yacht Club member Mark Spring.  She is a Beneteau First 45 and has had a strong race record with previous owner Paul Clitheroe (then known as Balance).

Mark took delivery of Highly Sprung at Hamilton Island 2018 and achieved a third in her IRC division on the first weeks outing.  Highly Sprung has recently picked up a first in IRC, ORCI and PHS in the recent 2019 Pittwater to Paradise race, and a 5th in its ORCi division of the 2019 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race.
