Celestial, owned by CYCA Rear Commodore Dr Sam Haynes, has been a regular competitor in the Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore, Rolex Sydney Hobart and IRC regattas around Sydney.

The crew had a successful trip to Sail Port Stephens where they were placed third in the NSW IRC Championships and claimed first in the TP52 Series.

The team have also been very competitive in the ocean racing scene with a fourth overall in the 2018 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and sixth in IRC Div 1 during the 2018 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, followed up with a 3rd in both IRC and ORCi in the 2019 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race.
